Web page design has been "the pain in the butt" ever since I started my online journey.

I have been struggling with website design ever since I started my online business. All I know about designing a web page is drawing a single column table by setting the column width and height in the number pixels.

Try to Learn Web Designing

I have forced myself to learn how to use Microsoft Front Page to design my web pages in HTML.

I have tried to pick up PHP programming by using Adobe Dreamweaver.

But I was overwhelmed by the technicality of the above mentioned web design applications.

I have spent lots of time in learning the web programming and trying to solve the bugs here and there.

It has come to the stage where I have to admit and accept that website designing is not my forte, period!

I Hate Web Site Design

I had started to hate website design and decided to outsource the designing work since then.

I think that is the most I could do for myself rather than having the hard time on the work that is not productive and not contributing to my business.

So, I have no choice but to either outsource most of my past projects or use ready made web templates.

"Well done... Bravo... You have finally got your most hated work outsourced and problem solved.", you may think.

Nah, if this is what you think then you got it wrong not entirely but quite a significant part of it...

Problems with Outsourcing

There are still problems and challenges even if I have outsourced the work to freelance web developers or used ready made website templates that I have bought...

The problem with outsource job is that it incurred high labour cost and caused the project to become not profitable or merely covering the overall project cost.

On top of reducing the project profitability, the quality of web page designers varies and that has affected the final work.

I supposed you knew that quality of the website theme, the web graphic designs are very important in the overall presentation.

Also many of times the design work may not be satisfactory if you have hired average designers or at times it was due to miscommunication, so on and so forth.

The Headaches with Ready Made Templates

Then I turned to using ready made templates and faced with different set of problems...

You know that templates which are ready made come with its own graphic and setting and my problem is that I often have to modify the theme, graphic design myself to make it fit into the products or services that we are promoting.

In the beginning I have already shared with you how poor I am in all these artistic work as I am not a Photoshop person nor a flash guy.

The redesign work has taken too much time and no time could be allocated for business development. Again, not productive at all!
